Balance your work schedule with enjoyable "pick-me-up" activities that help manage your stress creatively. This is not an option but a necessity! Making time for fun and enjoyable activities is all about respecting yourself and also modeling this for your family. Start with small activities like spending time at a park or seeing your favorite movie.
You can do all this with a Daily Planning Sheet (you may have to create one), a pen, a timer, a calculator and a decision. It is best to do this on a computer and there is no more ideal tool than a Spreadsheet like Excel. You can work up a template (simple or complicated) that will allow you to do all the above points in just a few minutes (literally less than 5).
Ideally the template will keep track of where you are in the day, all incomplete tasks, and keep you posted, at a glance, on how you are doing. Regardless how you do this, with some cleverness you will find a way. The key point is to make sure the above 7 tips are implemented. You will be amazed how much you can get done and how much ease of mind you will have, as you work, knowing you are working with a plan.
Approaching your housework in an organized manor will make it both more complete and easier in the long run. You do not have to create checklists like NASA or anything, just use them to remind you of all the items that need attention, and so that nothing is left out. These checklists will help you to stay accountable to yourself and your family, and help you provide them with the beautiful home you want them to have.
While this is a basic checklist for planning a funeral, there are many resources available on the web. Do not hesitate to do some research. Though it may seem strange, consider how to handle digital life. And do not forget to consider what will happen to your pets after you pass. It`s this kind of pre-planning that eases the strain on you and your loved ones.
Writing it down leaves you free to concentrate on other things. Keep your list in front of you, and allow yourself the satisfaction of marking a task as complete. This is a little different from keeping To Do Lists. A checklist tracks tasks that need to be completed on a given project. If you find that you work on the same types of projects repeatedly, consider creating a checklist template for yourself so you can use it over and over again.
